Fantagraphics Books has been planning a comprehensive reprinting of the entire run of
Walt Kelly's Pogo comic strip for quite some time now. They had some trouble tracking done some of the early Sunday strips but the first volume is now complete and should be shipping out sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm eagerly awaiting my copy.
Pogo is one of those rare comic strips that is illustrated lavishly, written extremely well and stays consistently funny throughout its run. It's one of those strips that you stand in awe of that he was able to churn it out day after day for years without a decrease in quality.
