In this hectic day and age, things come and go so fast that many things are quickly forgotten about or are buried amongst the onslaught of the new. This blog uncovers the gems and brings them back into the light for all to see.
I picked up this cool book at a thrift store, "Dan McDougall and the Bulldozer" by Lydia Pender with pictures by Gerald Rose. It's the story of a man who lives in the Australian Outback and wants to visit the city by the sea and decides to drive his bulldozer all the way there.
The story is really good, but the quality of the illustrations really bring the book up a couple of notches. I'm really glad I picked it up.
